A branch of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) that has truly stood the test of time, originating in china over 2500 years ago, and still going strong to this day. According to TCM, our health depends on energy (also known as Qi) which should flow smoothly through the meridians of the body.

Acupuncture consists of inserting fine sterilised disposable needles into specific points on the body to rebalance the 'Vital Energy'. This stimulates the body's own healing response and helps restore its natural balance.

The first consultation will be longer and consist of a detailed case history to identify the root cause. Diagnostic tools used such as tongue and pulse observations and the use of Acugraph, a digital meridian imaging system will be used to determine the correct treatment.

Acupuncture has been used to treat such conditions including;

Headaches, digestive disorders, PMT, back pain and sciatica, arthritis, respiratory problems, insomnia, anxiety, skin complaints, circulation problems, infertility, stress related illnesses or generally feeling low and lethargic. But most importantly as a preventative treatment!
